Medical Assistant or Clinic Nurse LPN - Pediatrics
Job DescriptionMercy Washington PediatricsMonday - Friday:
8 AM - 4:
30 PMNo weekends or holidays!Clinic LPN and MA - Pediatric Overview:
The Clinic LPN/MA will support six providers within the Pediatric Washington clinic.
The Clinic LPN/MA will handles patient phone calls, providing triaging, instruction and appropriate follow-up, maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment and medications.
Qualifications for LPN:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:
Requires current LPN license in state of Missouri.
Experience:
Requires previous experience in patient care.
Certifications:
AND current IV Certification.
Other:
Must have excellent communication and good computer skills.
Accurate patient vital signs phlebotomy skills perform EKG's perform minor diagnostic CLIA-approved testing for office Preferred
Experience:
Prefer a minimum of one-year experience in physician practice or patient education.
Qualifications for MA:
Medical Assistant:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification:
Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred
Experience:
6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Certified Medical Assistant:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification:
Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).
Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
